Sensors are components or devices that convert collected information into signals that can be processed by the device. The information obtained by the sensor is used to control the signals (physical quantities) collected and converted by the sensor, such as temperature, light, color, air pressure, magnetism, speed, acceleration, etc.
Modern microcontrollers have increased the processing power of industrial sensor nodes and have achieved wired or wireless connection with cloud servers, opening up new IIoT device possibilities for smart factory applications. These devices include industrial robots and collaborative robots, industrial process sensing and factory automation, tilt sensing and warehouse inventory management, vibration analysis of rotating machinery, and human presence detection.
